THE WORLD HOMEWARD WITH ASIAN PAINTS

Asian Paints introduces-Signature Look
Personalised home décor ideas for Indian consumers with a sense of adventure, wanderlust and the spirit of exploration  in partnership with Peacock Life, The Label Life and Orange Tree.

Asian Paints has been a well known and well accepted part of every household in India and we forever cherish the beautiful colors and designs that we incorporate in our houses which are a reflection of ourselves and our personalities. Bringing joy in the form of beautiful wallpaper designs in the kid's room or bringing the chic edge in our work area, there is versatility and Asian Paints never disappoints anyone in that aspect.
Along with coloring our lives, Asian Paints compliments the same style with decor as well. There is no need to break our heads while selecting what furniture favors the colors or vice versa because Asian Paints has it all covered.
But along with show casing our personalities in our own humble abode, don't you ever feel like reliving some beautiful, memorable moments you have lived once in your life. Don't you feel like making it permanent at your own house?
On 19th June 2017, Asian Paints has kicked off their new campaign and introduced the "Signature Look"- a decor look which will be carefully curated by the Asian Paints decor consultants to bring your memorable travel experiences into your home. The Signature Decor Services makes it easier for every homemaker to paint their memories on the walls of their house and create a personalized theme along with accessory, furniture, wallpapers and lots more which will accentuate your mood and let you relive the best days of your life.

The recent launch theme was "The World Homeward" which takes you and your family on a journey that makes you feel like you are back to that gorgeous place and cherish things that make you who you are right now. That is also a way of sharing that story and memory with all of your loved ones.
One such concept was presented on the launch of The World Homeward that was designed in such a way that it incorporated the cultural influence of Goa and the laid back attitude the place brings. The decor included earthen tones with slight golden hues which imitates the vibes of the beach and the accessory embodies the peaceful sea. I felt like I was in Goa without actually being present in Goa itself.

The launch not only visually show cased what it represents but also gave us an opportunity to be a part of the memories of these 3 extremely inspiring people;

Kaustubh Khade-  Kaustubh can best be described as a sport enthusiast. But it is his love for kayaking that has taken him deep into uncharted waters and he thrives on being left to find his footing. Not only has he represented the country at international kayaking tournaments, he also holds the Limca Record for completing a 500 kms solo kayaking journey from Mumbai to Goa. To us, a trip from Mumbai to Goa might seem like an invitation to kick back and sip cocktails on the beach. To Kaustubh, it is an invitation to kayak alone, in deep, sea waters. His recent kayaking journey began in Kutch and ended at Kanyakumari.
His experience just made me realize the importance of all things that we take for granted on a day to day basis. We have so much beauty and tranquility around us and instead of removing the time to appreciate, we rather crib about it. Do what you love irrespective of the fact that you'll get famous or not because happiness is your trophy and that is what you should be after.

Rishab Joshi from Lost Stories   Lost Stories is one of the largest music talents of the country. The duo has performed for numerous prestigious stages, including Sunburn and Tomorrowland alongside international artists like DJ Tiesto, Dash Berlin, Boombaba etc. Their musical genius has landed them the title of being Indias leading electronic dance music performers/DJs but they arent resting on past accolades.  Their cover of Justin Beibers Sorry with Armaan Malik clocked over a half million hits on YouTube. They are currently collaborating on new music with numerous national and international artists, which is expected to hit the market soon. Rishab has played for renowned clubs like Knox, Versuz, and Opium in Europe and crazy experiences were par for the course. He is the younger genius of the two and enjoys connecting with people.
I could easily connect with Rishab's story because I am sort of an hypochondriac as well. But just like him, I am always motivated to leave back my worries and face my demons. It might be big or small but all struggles are personal and it's important to get out of the rock that we live under and embrace life as it comes.

Yeshwant Holkar  Yeshwant is the co-founder of Umoja an online platform that curates and develops travel plans for families where loved ones have limited mobility. Yeshwants journey of making Indian tourism more accessible for everyone is a heartwarming initiative made even more remarkable when viewed alongside Indias overarching lack of inclusive measures for differently abled people. Umoja has been pivotal in bringing awareness and improving accessibility.
The concept of Umoja was unheard of and absolutely compelling. Everyone deserves to enjoy the beauty the world has to offer irrespective of any medical problems or disabilities and Umoja does that for them. Just seeing the happiness and joy on the faces of every individual was the highlight of my day.
This is one of the many amazing stories

After getting introduced to this great venture, I dived into the world of Goa which they had created as a part of their World homeward launch left me inspired and wanting for more. Amongst all the beauty, one particular corner called out to me and I can surely say that would love to have something like that in my own house. I never thought that the color green would attract me but the vintage vibes along with the subtle gold and the use of leftover wallpaper in form of frames left me surprised. Well using leftover wallpaper in frames and making it a part of the wall gives a different dimension to the entire room. That's such a great idea.

The colorful accents paired with modern functional decor made me rethink my house and kept on inspiring me. This entire launch was not only an eye opener for me but makes me want to indulge in my travel expeditions, makes me want to learn more and I definitely want to make it an everyday part of my life. What's better than making your house a canvas for it
