TRAVELLING SCOTLAND WITH DANIEL WELLINGTON

It's been almost 4 months since I have arrived Glasgow for my studies but due to the busy university schedule and pending assignments I barely got anytime to fulfil my wishes of exploring the city and the famous scenic highlands. As usual long time plans do not work in my case but impromptu plans always work the best and that's what happened this time. Suddenly I decided to explore either to places, Edinburgh for it's famous Christmas market and castle or Fort William to board the Jacobite train. Obviously my harry potter obsession took over and the Jacobite train ride was the winner.  The next day I boarded the coach to witness one of the most beautiful panoramic views I have seen that was situated between Glasgow and Fort William. Later was the gorgeous ride on the dream come true steam train mimicking the famous harry potter train and the highlight of the trip was the aspiring bridge at Glennifinnan Viaduct. I also got an additio…

Another year, Another Adventure

It has been such a long time since I have blogged and it feels great to be back at it. There has been so much going about in the last two months and that to all special and eventful things. I got to experience living alone in a foreign country and still going on strong, travelled to few beautiful places in Scotland and experienced the demon in the form of exams.  Beginning with the month of October, Ahhh my favourite month of the entire year because it's my birthday month and for the first time I would be spending it away from home but unfortunately without my mumma. Aside from being at Glasgow, I went on an adventurous trip to a small town nearby called Balloch. Taking the early moment Scot rail, My friend and I reached the lake side town and was taken back by the beautiful nature and quite ambience. Unfortunately due to the lack of information, we missed the speed boat but luckily we jumped on the cruise and were a spectator of the mesmerising islands and castles. But it was su…

WINTER IS COMING FT SHEIN.COM

WINTER IS COMING
It's been approximately 1 month and 10 days since I have been away from the hot and humid weather of Mumbai and have been staying in the city of Glasgow, Scotland which is known for being cloudy, rainy and cold. Luckily since a month I was able to function the normal way as it was bearable and the rain was nowhere as bad as it is Mumbai. But since few days in the month October I am kind of getting familiar and understanding why people say it gets too much too cold. It has been super windy and cold even at the regular temperature of 10-14 degrees. I am not mentally ready for what's about to come my way in a few days and it will definitely test me the hard way. But for what's happening at the moment I have removed my winter outfits, which can finally be used, and I am ready for the early morning walks to the University. Being a University student it's viable and comfortable for me to dress casual…

BE BEACHY FT SHEIN.COM

Image
After having an amazing shoot day, I fell ill and even at the moment I am feeling under the weather but that doesn't stop me from pouring my thoughts into this blog and writing more about this look, which turned out to be spontaneously great and gave me much needed positivity.
One of the rare but most gorgeous days are when the sun gods are extremely giving to the city of Glasgow. There is no other place I would love to be than Glasgow when it's sunny, windy and just relaxing. It just pumps me up and brings a huge smile on my face. That's when I decided that high time, even though I'm studying, I should some time to create content for my blog because why sacrifice one thing for the other when both have different but important places in your life. Balancing is what makes both possible and enjoyable as well. When I saw this flowy blue and white palazzo pants from Shein.com, I was immediately taken to Greece and the beach. No it's because it is similar to the colour…

MY LIFE AHEAD

Image
Here I am sitting at 11pm in another country and already reminiscing about my last week in Mumbai. If you'll don't know about my latest life adventure, I am currently in Glasgow, United Kingdom pursuing my post graduation from the University of Glasgow. It was kind of unexpected for me to do that particularly this year but here I am and have already started living the fresher's life in this beautiful country. But this is probably the first time I have ever been away from home for such a long time but though it makes me miss all the comfort, love and laziness at home but it is also encouraging me and making me an independent adult here.
It has been just more than 2 weeks and even though this place is already growing up on me, homesickness has been hitting me hard. I have been just thinking about my last few amazing weeks at Mumbai and this particular blog is one of those glorious days. Every month my mother and I make a trip to Thane and along with the scenic drive, we ge…

RENT YOUR CLOSET WITH FLYROBE

Image
Almost everyday passes by where I try to find out new applications on my IPhone to make my life better and easier. Online shopping sites and Food ordering websites are everything for me right now. No worries about getting out of the house and there are tons of options to choose from.
Recently I was looking for some luxurious ethnic options for Diwali but investing some extra mullah on something that I would just wear once doesn't make sense to me. Even if I repeat the same outfit hundreds of times, I won't be able to make the most out of it. When I came across the Flyrobe website through Facebook Ads, my sceptical mind rose up and I had en number of questions related to the authenticity, quality, the amount and what not. Renting an outfit was something that never crossed my mind because of cleanliness issues and even whether it's worth it. But renting a designer outfit for an event does make sense to me as I would have to pay just a nominal amount for a single use and I …
