Hey I am back with something new and different and it is a treat for the foodies out there. A new eatery has been launched in the city of Mumbai and it is not like any other place I have been. This cafe captures the essence of Mumbai from it's roots. The Backstreet Cafe welcomes you from the loud and busy life in Mumbai to a small replica of the city itself but there is just one difference, it is quite, calm and without any worries. The place will lift your mood with the most trending songs and the funniest quirky posters on the walls. The eye catching part of the cafe is the Bus. The Red Bus is just not a show piece but you can actually enter the bus and eat inside. That would the perfect place to host a get together. Doesn't it just scream Mumbai?  The staff is extremely attentive and oh so helpful. Going beyond the horizon and trying new things have always been my thing. I have always been open to experimenting and doing things which make me nervous. Might sound weird but yes that's how I am.  When I got approached by Blue tan Advertising Company to visit one of their restaurants and try the food there, I was first overwhelmed because they saw my hard work even though it has been just 5 months into blogging and secondly I was pretty nervous because I have never dealt with food tasting or food blogging ever. The 2 F's- FASHION AND FOOD usually go hand in hand but I have never tried food in a critical manner. But I didn't waste much time in comprehending and just grabbed on to this opportunity. My first impression of the restaurant was that it is not one of those extremely over the top restaurants but just simple, low down, everyday kind of a place.
