TRAVELLING SCOTLAND WITH DANIEL WELLINGTON It's been almost 4 months since I have arrived Glasgow for my studies but due to the busy university schedule and pending assignments I barely got anytime to fulfil my wishes of exploring the city and the famous scenic highlands. As usual long time plans do not work in my case but impromptu plans always work the best and that's what happened this time. Suddenly I decided to explore either to places, Edinburgh for it's famous Christmas market and castle or Fort William to board the Jacobite train. It has been such a long time since I have blogged and it feels great to be back at it. There has been so much going about in the last two months and that to all special and eventful things. I got to experience living alone in a foreign country and still going on strong, travelled to few beautiful places in Scotland and experienced the demon in the form of exams.  Beginning with the month of October, Ahhh my favourite month of the entire year because it's my birthday month and for the first time I would be spending it away from home but unfortunately without my mumma. Aside from being at Glasgow, I went on an adventurous trip to a small town nearby called Balloch.                                                           WINTER IS COMING It's been approximately 1 month and 10 days since I have been away from the hot and humid weather of Mumbai and have been staying in the city of Glasgow, Scotland which is known for being cloudy, rainy and cold. Luckily since a month I was able to function the normal way as it was bearable and the rain was nowhere as bad as it is Mumbai. The 3rd and last look for the winter season 2016-17 is finally here. I know I was supposed to put it up soon but I had few other ideas in my mind hence the delay. But keeping that aside I can't believe that I missed the most coldest day in Mumbai. How I wish I was present here! But I did enjoy my recent trip and that also calls for new content and blog posts. Coming back on the topic of winter and winter fashion, I feel that gone are the days when winter would mean fully covered clothes and one would end up looking like a fluffy bag. We girls know how to go risque and get accustomed to a bit of cold to look our best. I am so glad that the leather season here. Fall is the time when all the muted colors can make a statement. Apart from the olive greens, beige and pastel shades, Monochromes are the to go fashion and definitely not mundane. Monochrome might have been overshadowed by so many 80's fashion comebacks this year but it never faded away. Don't believe it? All the well known brands like Zara, Asos, Mango always include monochrome in some shape or form in their Fall-Winter Collection every year. That just makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. Not exaggerating at all. My love for black, white and gray is pretty much evident throughout my closet. No color can come even close to this. And my love for monochrome becomes pretty much obvious because Duh it includes all the three beautiful shades. It is possibly the easiest color to style and layer it on during fall and winter.
