Another year, Another Adventure

Image
It has been such a long time since I have blogged and it feels great to be back at it. There has been so much going about in the last two months and that to all special and eventful things. I got to experience living alone in a foreign country and still going on strong, travelled to few beautiful places in Scotland and experienced the demon in the form of exams.  Beginning with the month of October, Ahhh my favourite month of the entire year because it's my birthday month and for the first time I would be spending it away from home but unfortunately without my mumma. Aside from being at Glasgow, I went on an adventurous trip to a small town nearby called Balloch. Taking the early moment Scot rail, My friend and I reached the lake side town and was taken back by the beautiful nature and quite ambience. Unfortunately due to the lack of information, we missed the speed boat but luckily we jumped on the cruise and were a spectator of the mesmerising islands and castles. But it was ...

RENT YOUR CLOSET WITH FLYROBE

Image
Almost everyday passes by where I try to find out new applications on my IPhone to make my life better and easier. Online shopping sites and Food ordering websites are everything for me right now. No worries about getting out of the house and there are tons of options to choose from. Recently I was looking for some luxurious ethnic options for Diwali but investing some extra mullah on something that I would just wear once doesn't make sense to me. Even if I repeat the same outfit hundreds of times, I won't be able to make the most out of it. When I came across the Flyrobe website through Facebook Ads, my sceptical mind rose up and I had en number of questions related to the authenticity, quality, the amount and what not. Renting an outfit was something that never crossed my mind because of cleanliness issues and even whether it's worth it. But renting a designer outfit for an event does make sense to me as I would have to pay just a n...

BEING INDIAN

Image
Hello everybody!! What are you all doing right now? I'm having an absolutely lazy day at home and spending some quality time with my grandmother.  Also I wanted to thank you all for 50,000 reads. Whattttt!!! That's a crazy number and I can't believe that so many people have actually read my blogs. So Thank You once again Today I wanted to write a chill and laid back kind of blog, just like my mood right now. I have shared en number of outfit posts, outfit ideas, inspiration and lots more on my blog and shockingly I have included few Indian outfits as well. I am not a person to shy away from my heritage and culture, rather I stand for who I am and proud of it as well, but I am more comfortable in shorts and loose tee as I have grown up pretty much in these clothes.  Since I started my blogging career, kid you not, I have always, either consciously or subconsciously, included an Indian attire and loved working with it wholeheartedly. I have started embracing the comfort and...

INSPIRATION ALL AROUND

Image
Whenever I go out on the streets of Mumbai for my shoot, I am always inspired and have a definite look and concept in mind. I have an idea as to how and what I want to display to my readers as well as something that I would be extremely proud of.  It is completely surprising but I have come a long way and I am more hungry than ever for more content, more creativity and more ideas. I know that the nature would never disappoint me. There are so many beautiful architectural buildings, beautiful graffiti, the normal walk of life in this ever so bustling city that will always be the backdrop for my creations.  But there is always so much that I can do and when I decided to shoot for this geometrical wonder I felt absolutely uninspired and unsure. I hated that feeling of entering into a zone which I am unaware about and not feeling passionate at all. When the time arrived, I donned this outfit and legit traveled the lanes of Versova to find something which would do some ju...

SERENE BLUE

Summer is nearly over and the rain gods have finally showered some mercy. Though I have never been a fan of the monsoon season but this year 2017 I couldn't help but wonder when it will finally start raining. The heat was extremely unbearable and I just couldn't fathom to even step outside my humble abode.  It has been rightly said that you realize the worth of something when it's gone. After many years of cribbing and detesting the rains, I have finally understood it's worth and am forever happy to embrace it.  The calm soothing windy weather, the cooling drops of rain has made me travel into the midst of all things natural and has made me realize that it's alright to take a break and reminisce about what will make me happy rather than what will make others happy. Well everyone might not understand it but weather makes a lot of difference in a person's thought process and affects the way one would approach life whether in the present or future. ...
