KURTI TWO WAYS

Image
Hello Everyone. So here I am sitting on the bed, which is nothing new and on to my second cup of coffee. I was feeling so lethargic and gloomy but I had to push myself up because I had to get this blog ready for you'll to read. So that was basically my life update and now let's get on straight to another outfit post. Traditional clothes and the colour yellow are the two things in which I am so not comfortable. Might sound strange because after all I am an Indian and we celebrate thousands of festivals. But to be honest I am so not like that. I do find ethnic wear like Kurtis, Saris very beautiful and exquisite but I am more comfortable in shorts and tank tops. That was me blabbering about ethnic wear and now I will come to the colour yellow. I have always felt that yellow just doesn't suit me and I personally find it to be extremely bright. For me there is nothing like lighter shades of yellow or darker shade, I believe that all shades of yellow can be described in just ...

SKIRTING AROUND

Image
This Gorgeous Autumnal weather is making me go crazy!!! I absolutely adore this type of weather because firstly it is during my birthday and secondly the beautiful sunshine along with the slight nip in the air makes me buoyant.  This weather also gives me the chance to strut my personal style and experiment with loads of different fashion without worrying about the rains, puddles or extremely cold freezing weather. This autumn I was shockingly gravitated towards Skirts. I don't wear skirts on a day to day basis but just out of nowhere I wanted to do nothing with jeans or shorts but just wear skirts for almost every event. I decided to come up with two different looks for situations which are going to be poles apart.  The First look is the right option for either a business meeting or a night out. Two completely opposite situations right? Well just add a few items here and there and you can wear this particular look throughout the day. Pair up this lace black slip wit...

RED, LACE AND TWIRL

Image
Hello to all you gorgeous people. First of all Thank you so much for 3,000 reads on my blog. This type of response in a short amount of time is overwhelming but motivating at the same time. It might seem nothing to few people but for me it means the world because I started this journey with no connections, no blog knowledge and no support. And now I have so many of you guys visiting my blogs and social media pages and helping me to create an impact. Thank you once again. Might be wondering what the subject line "Red,Lace and Twirl" means? Well these 3 words are perfect to sum up the dress which I am going to talk about. There used to be particularly only one thing I preferred in the colour red and that is a lipstick. I absolutely love red lipsticks because they bring that instant glam look even when you don't have any makeup on. The absolute style cheat!! But Red colored clothes have never attracted nor enticed me in any shape or form. I was just stubborn in my tho...

GO SAFE OR ALL OUT FOR THIS DIWALI FESTIVAL

Image
" Many Deepavali festivals have come and gone. Yet the hearts of the vast majority are as dark as the night of the new moon. The house is lit with lamps, but the heart is full of the darkness of ignorance. O man! wake up from the slumber of ignorance. Realize the constant and eternal light of the Soul which neither rises nor sets, through meditation and deep enquiry." P.S- KINDLY READ TILL THE END. THERE IS SOMETHING I WANTED TO CONVEY TO MY READERS.  Diwali has finally arrived. Not only it's all about the lights, decorations and rangoli but also a great excuse for everyone to get ready and put their best foot forward. For the people who don't know what exactly Diwali is, it is way more than just a "festival of lights". It is the day when Good conquered the Evil. It is also considered to be a new beginning in everyone's life. This festival is celebrated by every Hindu household throughout the world. The Diwali week begins with Dhanteras- the ...
