Nykaa affordable beauty products haul

So everyone is aware of the fact that Nykaa has their huge rainbow sale going on and I wanted to buy few products which would be required for daily use and also quite affordable. So I shopped quite a few items from Nykaa.com during their sale and these products would be very useful for beginners learning to do their own makeup. I'm not a professional either and using these products just makes the job much more easier.

 

1. L'oreal Paris Infalliable stay fresh foundation 24h 
The process of makeup is just like construction. Before building a project it is required to have a strong base. Even in case of makeup it is necessary to have a strong,blended and natural base. The L'oreal infallible foundation is so smooth and just blends perfectly into the skin. It gives a very natural finish and it's not cakey at all. It also comes up with about 11 shades and you will definitely get your match.The L'oreal  Paris foundation keeps up to its promise. It remains intact for 24h and gives a natural and matte look. It's not very drying and it gives a medium to full coverage. Therefore a concealer won't be required as you don't want your face to be caked up with products . The foundation is quite build able and so it helps to cover all the imperfections. Though the quantity is not much for the price you pay but a bit definitely goes a long way.

 2. L'oreal  Paris mat magique

 

 

The next step is to set the foundation in place and for that a loose powder or a compact does the job. The L'oreal  Paris mat magique is a matte transforming powder. It is definitely a gift for people with super oily skin. It stays matte for about 8 hrs if used individually but if used with the foundation it won't budge at all. It comes in quite a few shades to match the Indian skin tone. The other best part about this powder is that it contains SPF 34 PA+++. So therefore it helps the skin to be protected from sun damage as well.
But do not completely rely on the powder for sun protection. A sunscreen is a must and must be applied before applying any makeup.

3. L'oreal  Paris true match le blush

 

 

After the base is done, the skin might look a bit washed out and it would cry for some amount of tint or colour. The L'oreal  Paris true match le blush comes in 5 shades. The shade no4 rosewood is the perfect match for me, it might look a bit dark but trust me it's perfect to give that natural flush  to your face without looking too bold and fake.

4. Maybelline New York colossal liner  
  A liner makes you look wide awake and also gives a definition to your eye. Since few months it's one of my holy grail product and I do not get out of my house without a liner. This is the 2nd time I've purchased this liner. The Maybelline colossal liner comes with sharp,sturdy tip. It's a felt tip liner and it's extremely easy to apply and also to make a winged liner.

5. Lakme eye conic kajal 
The lakme eye conic kajal comes in ample of different colours. I bought the grey one because I just wanted to experiment with a coloured kajal other than the standard black one. Oh my god the colour is so beautiful and it glides on so easily and it's smudge free as well. It remains almost for 10 hrs and is also waterproof.

6. Coloressence moisturising lip color 
 There might be times where you just wanna go out there and apply a bold dark lipstick to inhance your look. I personally love all shades red and most of the times I don't go for pinks and nudes. But this fuchsia pink from coloressence is so pigmented and dark and so bold. The coloressence lip color is extremely moisturising but it's not glossy. It has a semi matte finish and  it also contains vitamin E, Shea butter, jojoba oil and almond oil which protects the lips and doesn't cause any harm and it's extremely affordable.

7. Nail polish 

  I had heard many youtubers rave about the Nykaa nail paints. So Nykaa.com has their own line of nail paints and the colours are oh so attractive. I'm a fan of bright nail paints so that's why I purchased Nykaa nail enamel in the shade watermelon sorbet but for once I also wanted to try a cool toned nail paint but something different from the usual pinks and when I saw this Nykaa nail enamel in the shade mint meringue I fell in love and I had to have it. These nail polishes have a gel nail polish like consistency and remain for a very long time. They do not chip off that easily and are vey economical as well.

So these were my purchases from the Nykaa rainbow sale. At present Nykaa has their back to work sale going on and it offers 40% discount on most of the products so do check that out. As well as the nykaa rainbow sale is on till the 26th so do take advantage of that.
