HOW TO DEAL WITH THE POST VACATION PAUNCH

TIME FOR NEW BEGINNINGS, NEW OPPORTUNITIES, NEW EXPERIENCES AND SAVORING ALL THE MOMENTS TO COME.

It is going to be pretty difficult to get out of the wonderland vacation mode and get back to working on a schedule. Not just that but I am pretty much sure that the last 2 weeks would have been filled with cheat days and best excuses to indulge one self in the goodness of mashed potatoes, chicken, turkey and loads of cheese. And why shouldn't you do that? After all this time doesn't arrive every month where you can let go and live life as you want with long lost friends and family and absolutely nothing to worry about. 

And then comes the time when you have to hit the gym and answer those daunting questions presented to you by your instructor or if you have to attend a post new year party but your body isn't ready for that hot body con dress you bought. A great amount of things to worry about at the beginning of the new year, right? Just kick back and relax because I am going to share few effective tips and tricks that will help you to loose some kilos and get rid of the post vacation ponge 

1. DRINK LOTS OF WATER( LOTS AND LOTS)
I know I know, you must have heard about this billions of times from almost anyone and everyone but still I can't stress enough on the fact that Water changes the game completely. Having 10 glasses of water a day will do wonders for your body, health and skin and help you shed some stubborn fat as it eliminates the toxins and unnecessary gunk out of the system. Start your day with 2-3 glasses of water and as the day proceeds reduce the intake because gulping down 2 bottles of water at a time isn't going to speed up the process.

2. AVOID THE AFTERNOON NAP
Trust me when I say that there is something known as too much sleep. I used to not believe that before but since few years I definitely do. Having a good 8 hours sleep at night is your petrol to get you going throughout the day. If you are feeling lazy then just go walk about your premises but avoid sleeping because too much sleep will just cause more swelling in your body as the system won't be able to digest your food properly. Ya ya A lot of sciency stuff involved but that's what floats our boat. 

3. REMOVE 15 MINS OFF YOUR DAY FOR THIS
Just spare 15 mins off your day for these 3 effective exercises. It is not rocket science and no gymnast like skills required. 3 easy exercises and you are on your way to a fit body.

BICYCLE CRUNCHES


START WITH A SET OF 20 CRUNCHES AND CONTINUE NORMAL BREATHING
THIS WILL LEAD TO A FULL BODY WORKOUT BY TONING YOUR THIGHS, WORKING YOUR CORE, REDUCING TUMMY FAT.
KEEP YOUR ELBOWS BACK AS YOU DON'T WANT TO STRAIN YOUR NECK
ALSO TIGHTEN YOUR CORE MUSCLES WHILE DOING THIS EXERCISE

Also known as One-Legged Knee-to-Chest Pose, this moving posture gently massages the abdominal organs, stimulating digestion, and releasing tension in the belly area. It also helps to release tension in the lower back, hips, and thighs.
  1. Begin by lying on your back, legs and arms extended.
  2. As you exhale, draw your knees to your chest. Clasp around them with your hands.
  3. Release your left leg and extend it along the floor, while still holding your right knee.
  4. Draw your left knee back in, then release and extend your right leg along the floor.
  5. Finally, draw both knees to your chest. With an exhalation, release and extend both legs along the floor and rest.

REPEAT 5 TIMES FOR EACH LEG.


Cobra Pose : Lie on the floor on your stomach. Keep your hands beside your shoulder. Push yourself up and look towards the sky as shown in the figure. You can feel the stretch in your stomach region. 
Repeat it 5 times and breathe in as you push yourself up and slowly exhale as you come down.

And the absolute last thing you have to do is try to avoid as much sugary stuff as you can. I know that is pretty difficult but not impossible. Instead of that you can eat tons of fruits and have juices to replace the sugar intake for your body.
