USES AND BENEFITS OF ROSE WATER
If you have been reading my blog for a while, you'll might be aware that I am a fan of all things natural when it comes to applying anything on my skin. We all do know small things go a long way. Don't want to take a risk for the long run.
Entering my 20's I need to be aware of all the products I use as well as start implementing new products in my routine before any signs of aging appear. One can only feel like a child at heart but your skin gives away your age. Nonetheless I prefer going for more economical skin care products to experiment with but recently I wanted to give a shot to few luxurious brands. I didn't go all out of my set budget and just to judge my field I purchased the Rose Water from Kama Ayurveda. I wasn't going to torture my skin with something completely new during the beginning of the new year and what can be more safer than Rose Water.
Being a complete non DIY kind of a person, I went beyond my limits and tried few daily skin care DIY's with this Rose water. After all I had to make the purchase worth it and also know how this one would be different from the other generic brands which offer a good quality rose water for fraction of the amount.
1. Especially if you are from a hot and humid place, you would tend to get all sweaty and sticky, absolutely exhausted and you can't just randomly wash your face, got to think about the moisturizer, sunscreen and makeup. At that point of time your best friend will be Rose water. Just spray some rose water on your face and you will immediately well fresh, hydrated and the skin won't be oily anymore.
2. If you are one of those lucky people who have the luxury of having a bath tub at home, just spray rose water and sprinkle few rose petals in your bath, you will feel like a princess for sure. Just thinking about a bath makes me feel like I am on Cloud 9.
3. You can even use rose water as a makeup setting spray. Avoid spending thousands of rupees on those high end makeup fixing sprays and just add 1:3 ratio of glycerin and rose water. Spray it after your makeup is done and the makeup will last all day.
4. Use rose water as an after shave. Shaving would be the easiest and most convenient form of hair removal for us women. The comfort of being at home and not getting your skin ripped is my idea of heaven. In order to avoid after shave burns or rashes, just apply rose water on to your skin. It will help the skin to cool down and also soften it, making it smooth and soft like a babies bottom.
5. After a good shampoo just add a few drops of rose water to your wet hair. That will help to strengthen the hair and also give a good shine to it.
After personally trying all of these 5 DIY's with the Kama Ayurveda Rose Water, I can assure you that I will be going on to buy the full size product because the smell of the Rose Water is not strong or overpowering like the others, also it is extremely mild which makes it suitable for all skin type and a must for people with sensitive acne prone skin.
Apart from these 5 hacks, there are tons and tons of other things which can be done with Rose Water, which makes this one worth your money and effort.
