THE DARK PRINCESS

Not a thing in the world can take any moment away from you. But then why do we turn away from the few negative things in our life? It's completely understandable that reliving the dark past is unpleasant but shouldn't we take a small break and wonder that embracing your dark side just like your good one can bring a change in your life. Just like good memories bring a huge smile on your face, the bad ones might lead to over think about the aspects of life but don't they teach you a lesson?! Isn't it just amazing to wonder that if we imply the lessons from the bad phases,we will lead a better life.

I am not in any shape or form endorsing the fact that we should keep on committing mistakes to learn lessons but what I want to say is that there needs to be a balance between the good and the bad, the light and the dark and that makes you the "person" you are. Do not and I mean do not give away the rein of your life to any person, situation or anything else because after all you are the master of your life and it will go on the way you want it to.

You might be wondering what this has to do with this particular post? And why is it titled as the "DARK PRINCESS"? Whatever I have said completely connects with this post to the T. As I mentioned that we need to embrace our dark side and phases, by hearing the word "dark" your imagination might be taking you to the extreme but it's not that. Like every individual is different, their perspective on things and experiences vary as well.

I, as a distinct individual believe that every dark phase will be dealt with some good present within me. And I want to show case it in the form of my appearance and attitude. This entire look represents my take on the balance of good and bad. And the fact that in this fairy tale, the dark princess isn't the villain or a witch but in fact she is strong, fights against all odds, holds up to her individuality and is proud of her 1000 different personalities. She has an alter ego and she is proud of it.This princess ditches the question of "what people will think". She will be the princess of her own life and fight her wars with sneakers on.

So what I want to say is that let yourself out because you live life for yourself and not for the petty judgmental people in this world.
