GO SAFE OR ALL OUT FOR THIS DIWALI FESTIVAL

Image
" Many Deepavali festivals have come and gone. Yet the hearts of the vast majority are as dark as the night of the new moon. The house is lit with lamps, but the heart is full of the darkness of ignorance. O man! wake up from the slumber of ignorance. Realize the constant and eternal light of the Soul which neither rises nor sets, through meditation and deep enquiry." P.S- KINDLY READ TILL THE END. THERE IS SOMETHING I WANTED TO CONVEY TO MY READERS.  Diwali has finally arrived. Not only it's all about the lights, decorations and rangoli but also a great excuse for everyone to get ready and put their best foot forward. For the people who don't know what exactly Diwali is, it is way more than just a "festival of lights". It is the day when Good conquered the Evil. It is also considered to be a new beginning in everyone's life. This festival is celebrated by every Hindu household throughout the world. The Diwali week begins with Dhanteras- the ...

STRIPES ANYDAY EVERYDAY

Hello!! I know I've been MIA for a while. I was getting some important stuff done but it isn't an excuse for my absence and that is why I have many many blog posts coming your way. I'm extremely pumped up, joyous and that is why I want to give it back to you guys as well. That is why from the next blog post onward I am going to begin a series. This is something I had in mind  for a very long time and finally I got the platform to put it into action. As we all know that Fashion just like history always repeats itself . The year 2016 has been all about fashion comebacks . The 80's choker style and loose mom jeans have made a tremendous impact not only in India but also throughout the world. Instead of going for chunky pieces of jewelry we prefer a single choker to complete the look. Same is the case for jeans. There would be a time when we girls would prefer super skinny jeans to "flaunt it like we mean it". But now it's all about the comfort and cool vibes the boyfriend or mom jeans give. There has been another clothing item which has made a comeback in the second half of the year and that is Jumpsuits. Few years back when I was in college, Jumpsuits suddenly crept up and became an ultra glamorous style statement. Not only that but at that particular time jumpsuits were literally everywhere. Right from street shops at Colaba Causeway, Linking road to high end stores like Zara, Mango.  I,too was quite fascinat...

Skin being the largest organ of our body requires and deserves all the attention. All are aware of the fact that skin and beauty go hand in hand. For the makeup to sit well on the face, it is necessary to have a good, prepped up skin. Don't want to go all blotchy now, do we? Skin problems are faced by everyone on this earth. Hardly anyone is blessed with the perfect skin. But if you are, then I do envy you. But anyway, one of the most common skin issue faced by girls and boys of all age group and yes I mean by all age groups is acne. It's not just faced by teenagers anymore, there are cases of adult acne as well. We have heard from pretty much everywhere that the causes of acne are stress, lack of water intake, wrong skincare products and so on. Even after taking so much care, there is always that stubborn, irritating bugger which does pop up and mostly at the wrong time. Ugh Why?? In this fast paced busy life, we hardly have the time to invest in our selves and make packs...
